| Summary | 0000776: SKB consider to delete or format data folder. When happen some problem via Emengency Recovery. | ||||
| Description | When installing with Old Version pull patches such as Emergency Recovery or Rollback Patch after Home UI Patch, the Home UI is not able to launch if the latest version of the Home UI is left in the data area. Case normal OTA, the upgrade manager can install apps and install full patches, but during emergency recovery and USB patches, the app uninstall is not available in recovery mode, so data partition is formatted and deleted. SKB consider to delete or format data folder 1. How can I format “/data” ? 2. How can I check it recover after boot ? Can I check just the file is there or not | ||||

Hi Mr Jason Park, The only formal way we know is FactoryReset. After FactoryReset, everything should work well. You don't have to check anything. If SKB use another way to format "/data", there might be problems. It might break Android operating system. We don't know what will happen and if our apps could work well. |
